November 2007

Debraneys Managing Director, Debra Bayne, participated in the inaugural NSW Business Women's Trade Mission to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Visiting Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Debra met with a range of key representatives from government and private sector organisations to discuss the reality of doing business in the UAE and specific opportunities for the application of the unique technologies of Debraneys Security Management Systems. This allowed Debra the opportunity to expose organisations to begin thinking about the problems caused by traditional IT solutions and the ramifications of beginning to seriously address these problems.

Maritime Security Law short course - the Australian National Centre for Ocean Resource and Security (ANCORS), University of Wollongong, Australia - John Tregea, Debraneys Technology Director presented a half day workshop focussing on a range of security issues, the diverse perspectives of audiences and the possibilities for new IT architectures as they relate to "point in time" encapsulation of security related information.
